THE “BUY A MASK, GIVE A MASK” PROJECT:
As a company who focuses on community empowerment & handcrafted fashion, we immediately stopped our traditional focus of seasonal collections and put all of our efforts into building a powerful mask model and production structure to join the fight against the global pandemic; COVID-19.
We’re proud to announce our first initiative in this fight; The Buy a Mask, Give a Mask Project. We’ve had a lot of requests for masks in these last few weeks and it goes without saying that there is a massive shortage of masks within communities all around the world. For every mask that is purchased, we will be able to create another mask to donate to local businesses, organizations, coalitions, doctors, nurses, elderly, food service workers, social workers and anyone who is in need.
OUR MASKS:
We’ve spent a lot of time researching and building a prototype of a mask that we feel confident and proud to share with those in need. We’ve created powerful and safe protocols in the production of these masks in order to create a safe and comfortable mask while staying true to our principle of freedom of expression through timeless fashion. Our masks are created from a two-ply 100% cotton textile fabric and designed with an additional layer to be used with a filter, such as a HEPA filter. All of our masks our washable and reusable; however, they are not a direct substitute for N95, surgical, or procedural masks and are not FDA approved.
Masks designs are limited to supplies. We will continuously add more designs as we go through our inventory.
UPDATE: DUE TO LIMITED SUPPLIES , MASKS WILL NOT LONGER BE CREATED WITH AN ADDITIONAL COTTON FILTER POCKET. THEY WILL NOW BE CREATED WITH AN ADDITIONAL INTERNAL WOVEN LAYER .
